aaaaand #100 The wonderful John Lewis!

Yes, John Lewis has opened in Exeter and I just had to go... What did I find? A veritable feast of vintage loveliness and here are just a few...
This Ghost dress could have easily stepped off a 1930's catwalk. The line, the cut, the fabric...

Stunning for a special night out!

Ghost dress   £195

And another! This dress, with it a-symmetrical lines and the fabric cut on the bias, with the button detail could have been seen on any silver screen startlet!

Ghost dress     £195

And from Ted Baker, this little faux fur number, the 40s inspired 3/4 length sleeves are just asking for a pair of evening gloves, the length of the jacket could be worn with anything from a kilt to a silk evening gown and being faux, it's guilt free .... I will be saving my pennies for this one...

Ted Baker      £229

This gorgeous poncho, is just stunning, imagine Dietrich sashaying around in this little sweetheart by Ted Baker for £119 (not cheap, but it will never go out of style)

And from Phase Eight... Polka Dots!!! There's not much I can say about this 50s inspired dress that va va voooom!

Phase Eight      £99

This lovely little dress has all the oriental overtones that 40s - 50s ladies craved. The sheer over dress with damsen design and wiggle cut would look stunning with an up do and a matching hair piece.

Phase Eight     £169

#99 How to spend £22 in Primark

So, my daughter was at a play date, I finished work early, my hairdressers appointment wasn't for a couple of hours, so what is a girl to do? Shop of course!

So, along with all my favourite vintage shops, I popped into Primark and what did I find?

Shoes, tights and a handbag for less than £25!

These cute little slip-ons, with a patent bow detail at only £10 where an absolute treat and the travel bag, an unbelievable £9 and only £3 for not one, but two  fishnet tights!

I am one happy camper right now!
